Due to the close proximity of the Batoka Sky aerodrome to the Zambezi River, the Microlights are over the spectacular scenery of the River 30 seconds after take off.
Weight Restrictions:
· Microlights & Bat Hawk: The weight limit is 100 kilograms per client, clients exceeding this limit will not be able to fly.
Wait Time: Please note that there may be a wait upon arrival at the Maramba Aerodrome. This wait could be due to the aircraft being airborne, undergoing pre-flight checks, or other clients waiting to fly. Weather and safety checks may also contribute to a wait of up to 30 minutes. Please do bear with us should you find we have such situations on the ground
I had already given some feedback to Jenny who handled my booking and I did not hear anything back from her. My wife and I took our flights on a windy day. While my wife's flight was good, I was left pretty disappointed with my flight and Pilot, Devon. My pilot flew much higher due to the wind and mentioned that if it was not for the wind he would have gone lower and taken more curves and such. He did not also point out a lot or give a lot of commentary compared to my wife's pilot Pascal. Given that it was windy, we should have been informed correctly and told about the conditions and given a choice about taking the flight the next day due to the wind. I was looking forward to this as one of the highlights of our vacation and was left very disappointed with how things turned out given the amount of money we paid as well. Did not get feedback from Jenny after I communicated all this to her. Will not be using Livingstone's adventure for any tours again. - Ganesh
My flight over Victoria Falls was fantastic. Everything was so organized and run really efficiently. The operations were a well oiled machine. And then the flight - absolutely amazing. I loved being out there with the wind tugging at me as we glided through the air. Seeing the falls and the surrounding sea from that perspective was fantastic. Was lucky enough to see 5 rhino at the end of my flight. And I was very happy with the video of my flight that I purchased. It did a great job of capturing this once in a lifetime experience. The microlight flight I took over Victoria Falls was nothing short of amazing! The pilot was very professional and fun. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area and pointed out lots of things that I would not have noticed on my own. This was the highlight of my trip to Zambia and Zimbabwe and is absolutely worth spending a bit of extra money to experience! - Jaimie
My second flight (with the previous one in 2018). An experience not to be missed! Fellow travellers who opted for a helicopter trip thought that experience was very expensive and too high above the falls. Not so with the microlight! A huge thanks to my pilot, Anton. - David
