After a gentle take off from the helipad, you will fly out over the Victoria Falls where we will provide you with the most incredible viewing and photographic opportunity of this World Heritage site. Continuing your flight downstream over the Batoka Gorge, experience the natural beauty of this awe-inspiring dramatic feature, following the mighty Zambezi as it carves its way between steep cliffs.
As we head back from the Batoka Gorges, taking a last glimpse of the falls, we fly over Long Island on the upper Zambezi towards the National Park, home to a wide variety of wildlife species. This is an amazing opportunity to view game from the air in this vast National Park, as well as along the banks of the upper Zambezi River. There are great chances of spotting Elephants, Hippo, Crocodile, Buffalo, Giraffes, Kudu and many more as we head back to the helipad.

Guests or SpectatorsThe Zambezi Helicopter Company works with M.A.R.S. (Medical Air Rescue Service) and other medical air rescue organisations to provide medical evacuations and casevacs when called upon in emergency situations in the outlying areas of Victoria Falls. This includes landing in the Batoka Gorge and Zambezi National Park to attend to accidents and to ferry injured persons to medical facilities in Victoria Falls or Hwange (100km) if needed. This requires us to be constantly training with the M.A.R.S. staff in the injured person loading and unloading procedures and helicopter safety in approach and exit from a working helicopter. Should your flight be disrupted due to a medical emergency, your flight will be rescheduled. If this is not possible you will get a full refund on any payments made.
