Highlights – In addition to the above historical aspects of the tour, a visit to the Dambwa market is incorporated to give a local flavour and an insight to how a lot of the local people of today buy and sell goods such as traditional foodstuffs, basic house wares and fabrics or even livestock etc. The tour lasts around 2 ½ hours and may be booked in the morning or afternoon. These tours may be combined with other historical or cultural tours to make a full morning or day out with a very good lunch. Departure from the Livingstone Day Activity Centre is at the clients’ convenience but pick up is usually at 08h00 or 1h.00. Dambwa Market Tours include the services of a qualified guide and bottled mineral water. Children under 12 are ½ price and children under 2 are free.
